How entries were chosen
A script reads the sources and includes a sign only when liblouis and the rulebook give the same dots. Nothing was typed by hand or written by AI.
Included
- 64cells
- 26letters
- 10digits
- 6indicators
- 22punctuation marks
- 10symbols
- 107contractions
- 181signs
Not included
Shortforms, accented letters, ligatures, Greek letters, typeform indicators, and mathematical or technical notation. The Translate screen does not apply contractions.
liblouis and the rulebook are maintained separately, but liblouis implements the rules the rulebook publishes. Their agreement does not replace review by a braille reader.
