What the app does not do

BrailleStep has no account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no in-app purchases. The developer does not collect or sell personal data.

What stays on your device

Your learning progress, theme and cell size settings are stored only on your device. Text you type in Translate is processed on your device and is not saved or sent. Android may include app data in your own device backup, depending on your settings. Reset progress in Settings removes your progress, and uninstalling removes all of it.

Permissions

The app requests no Android permissions and makes no network connections. Links on its Data sources screen open in your browser, under your browser's own privacy terms.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
